(Farnborough 98 Programme)

As Farnborough is one of the most well known air events in the UK they organizers have to live up to the Farnborough image. Although Farnborough is more of a commercial show than others such as Fairford it still attracts aircraft from all around the world.

Here are a few pictures I took from Farnborough 98

In the 98 show my favorite moment had to be the Dassault Rafales performance (below)

Another crowd pleaser was airbus industry's A330. Once you have seen that performance you look at commercial aircraft in a completely different light. The surprised turn-up of the two Mig 29's (below) was also a pleasant supprise although they did look as if they needed a clean up.

I also enjoyed the stationary AH64 Apache's (below) from the US army, as I am a big Apache fan.

I am looking forward to Farnborough 2000 which should be very good, the date has moved forward to 24-30^th of July 2000 so that you can enjoy the show without the annual bad weather. If you want any more info on Farnbough 2000 then you can write to
